Sevgilerle,
Karen Hanım
Hi Friends,
This table has been in my family for 5 generations. I want to be sure that the 6th generation knows the story behind it so I have put the story down on these two 30×30 scrapbook pages. The table started out in an attic about 100 years ago and at this moment it is still in an attic waiting for it’s owner to return from Turkey.
The table was found by Ella Cosline in an attic and she gave it to her new daughter-in-law Hazel. Hazel transformed the table to what it looks like today.
The table was passed down to me from my mother Ruth and I have passed it on to my daughter, Kristin, who will someday pass it on to her daughter born last month whose name is Ella. So the table has come full circle and will eventually belong to Ella Cosline’s great, great, great, granddaughter, Ella Sullivan born just last month.
One reason I love scrapbooking is because it gives us a medium to record our family stories. History should be passed on!
